The Walk to Cure Psoriasis in Houston Saturday, May 10th

Published 05/03/2014

HOUSTON -- The Walk to Cure Psoriasis in Houston is the largest event in Houston and the surrounding area dedicated to those living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Your participation ensures continued progress towards a cure while eliminating the devastating effects of these chronic diseases through research, advocacy and education. Psoriasis is the most common autoimmune disease and affects more than 125 million people worldwide and approximately 180,000 in Houston and surrounding communities.

By raising $50,000 in Houston, the National Psoriasis Foundation could fund more researchers, like Dr. Dario Kivelevitch at Baylor Institute for Immunology Research, who are gaining a better understanding of how psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis behave while honing in on better treatments that will ultimately lead to a cure.
